بایوس یا Bios مخفف Basic Input/Outpu System مجموعه دستوراتی است که سخت افزار شما برای لود شدن و هماهنگی و پیکربندی ابتدایی به آن نیاز دارد. تمام این دستورات به صورت کد در قالب یک فایل داخل یک ماسفت که به آن آی سی بایوس گفته میشود، نوشته می شوند.

• جهت استفاده از این فایل به یک پروگرامر نیاز می باشد.
• قبل از پاک کردن آی سی و پروگرم کردن، فایل موجود روی آی سی را ذخیره کنید.

نکته : در بعضي از فايل هاي بايوس بايد به نوع BID number فايل بايوس توجه شود . براي يافتن BID Number ، وقتي فايل بايوس قديمي  را در TNM باز مي کنيد، از منو گزينه buffer>search را انتخاب کنيد و در کادر text string ، عبارت BID را نوشته و گزينه find را انتخاب کنيد.
